About the Study
Title: The Predictive Relationship Between Organizational Innovativeness and Airline Pilots' Perception of Employer Attractiveness
I want to learn about what aspects of innovation might make an airline more attractive to pilots when they decide which airline to apply to fly for. Research indicates that the views of current employees helps organizations shape their recruiting marketing efforts, so your views are an important source of data.
While this research does not benefit you directly, your participation may help future researchers or airline leaders better understand how to attract pilots to the profession.
Participation in this research is voluntary, completely anonymous, and should take less than 15 to 30 minutes. When finished, I will write an academic paper about the research findings. To maintain your anonymity, the paper will not include identifiable information.
This study is part of the researcher's doctoral education program.
Who is Eligible?
You can participate in the study if you are:
• an FAA Certified pilot holding an airline transport pilot certificate;
• between 23 and 65 years old; and
• actively employed as a pilot for a part 121 operator in the United States:
You are not eligible to participate if you:
• fly exclusively for other carriers or the military;
• are you currently furloughed by your employer
About 95 participants will be in this study.
